Seasonal variations in erodibility and sediment transport potential in a mesotidal channel-flat complex, Willapa Bay, WA

► Sediment erodibility was measured seasonally in a mesotidal flat-channel complex. ► Tidal flat erodibility was low, with comparable spatial and seasonal variability. ► Channel bed erodibility was high in winter but low in summer. ► Porosity just below the sediment surface was the best predictor of erodibility.
