Near-inertial currents off the east coast of India

► Near inertial currents (NICs) are studied using an array of moored Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCP) data along the east coast of India. ► Data describes seasonal variability of NICs and it's dependence on the seasonality in occurrence of storms. ► The spatial variability of NICs and upward phase propagation are evident in the data.
