► UGC remains an important spawning area despite the change to inverse estuary. ► Found fish larval habitats with defined environmental limits, despite tidal mixing. ► During summer, the Mixed fish larval habitat included the Vaquita Refuge. ► Low diversity correlated with the high salinity, maybe indicating human impact.
