The stabilization of self-organised leucogranite networks-Implications for melt segregation and far-field melt transfer in the continental crust

► We examine a net-structured leucogranite vein network in the field and by image analysis. ► The results suggest self-organisation of the melt transfer system. ► The formation of the network as a function of melt pressure is conceptualised. ► The network is inferred to allow transition from local to far-field melt migration.
