► Microbial boundstone down to 250 m depth on the slopes. ► Supratidal sedimentary facies restricted only to the inner platform. ► Microbialite and cements account for more than 70% of the whole rock volume. ► A new depositional model: a flat topped, steep fronted platform. ► Perfect agreement with the slope shedding model (Pennsylvanian of Asturias, N Spain).
