A new Early Cretaceous nerineoid gastropod from Argentina and its palaeobiogeographic and palaeoecological implications

► Eunerinea mendozana sp. nov. is described from the Lower Cretaceous of Argentina. ► This species extends southwards the Early Cretaceous distribution of Eunerinea. ► Subtropical conditions in the study area at the latest Hauterivian are suggested.
