Pollen based quantitative climate reconstructions from the Middle Pleistocene sequences in Łuków and Zdany (E Poland): Species and modern analogues based approach

► Two Ferdynandovian sequences correlated to MIS 13-15 were studied in E Poland. ► Pollen succession encompasses two interglacials and glaciations attached to them. ► Plant indicators and modern pollen analogues approach formulate coherent results. ► PCA confirmed distinctive climatic features of the two interglacials. ► Glaciation separating them demonstrates stadial/interstadial changes.
