Graphene-supported tungsten (WO3) nanocomposite with different WO3 loadings as synthesized using an impregnation method. The dispersion of graphene-WO3 nanocomposite was confirmed using transmission electron microscopy. Then selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalysts that using the graphene-WO3 nanocomposite was fabricated and their catalytic properties were evaluated. Due to its high specific surface area, graphene can nano-disperse WO3 and consequently improve its catalytic properties. The use of the graphene-WO3 nanocomposite alleviates the adverse effect of NH3 has on the NO reduction by the catalyst. The addition of the graphene-WO3 nanocomposite to the catalyst increases its NOX-removal efficiency to 80% over a temperature range of 150- 450 °C. Furthermore, the addition of the graphene-WO3 nanocomposite decreased the SO2-SO3 conversion to < 1%.
