Thermophysical and optical properties of SWCNTs nanofluids
چکیده انگلیسی
The aim of this experimental study is to measure and analyze the thermophysical properties (density, thermal conductivity, viscosity, and specific heat) and optical properties (transmittance, extinction coefficient) of SWCNTs nanofluids. Different concentrations of 0.1, 0.25, and 0.5 vol.% were investigated. SWCNTs-based nanofluids exhibit significant enhancement compared to water at low volume concentration. The favorable stability, thermophysical, and optical properties of SWCNTs nanofluids are promising for solar thermal applications. They can be utilized as working fluids for DASCs and volumetric solar collectors.
