Within the framework of the optimization of urban spaces and from the sustainable development perspective of the cities, underground spaces constitute land opportunities interesting for the urbanized spaces generally saturated on the surface. But the valorization of underground spaces also poses many technical difficulties because these spaces are generally badly perceived by the urban populations, which attend primarily the basements of the cities to only move. The installation of landscape scenography integrating of the plant is part of the solutions which allow the improvement of the perception of underground spaces by the users. They contribute to the aesthetic valorization of these spaces but they represent many eco-systemic advantages allowing for example the cleansing of the air and the thermal regulation of these confined spaces. If the benefits of the plants are shown today, the landscape installations developed in various forms present considerable benefits and mainly in terms of living environment and comfort. But to allow the valorization of these spaces by plants, it is necessary first to raise the constraints allowing the laying out and the durability of the alive elements integrated in the landscape installations in the basements and undergrounds. The technologies implemented thanks to the vegetal and urban genius, make it possible to raise these constraints and to perpetuate them. Right now, number of installations such as the vegetalized walls, were implemented in many underground spaces of large metropolises. But it is possible to imagine more developed landscape installations, as the experimentation of the Low Line's management in New York, which can contribute to transform the image of underground spaces.
