On measuring the efficiency of monetary policy

(2006) develop a method to measure macroeconomic performance changes. ► The changes depend on three features. ► These are the economy structure, variability of supply shocks and monetary policy. ► We propose a dual approach of their method. ► We borrow two well-known tools from the production theory.
