The size of the tradable and non-tradable sectors: Evidence from input-output tables for 25 countries

► We estimate tradable good investment and consumption shares for 25 countries. ► Our data attribute the distribution margin to the sector providing trade services. ► We compute input shares to account for intermediate tradable inputs in sectoral output. ► We find large cross-country dispersion of tradable shares. ► Investment tradable input shares are substantially larger than demand shares.
