Two new phenanthrenoid dimers from Juncus effusus

Two new phenanthrenoid dimers, dijuncuenins A (1) and B (2) with novel 14-3′ and 14-8′ linkages, respectively, were isolated from the ethanolic extract of the whole plant of Juncus effusus.
