The Li4Ti5O12/N-doped graphene composite has been successfully synthesized by a solid-state method. The characterization results show that N-doped graphene does not destroy the formation of Li4Ti5O12 and distributes uniformly around Li4Ti5O12 particles. The electrochemical results indicate that Li4Ti5O12/N-doped graphene composite exhibits superior rate capability and cycling performance over the Li4Ti5O12/graphene composite and pure Li4Ti5O12. EIS and CV tests show that the Li4Ti5O12/N-doped graphene composite possesses the lowest charge transfer resistance and the highest Li+ diffusion coefficient compared with the Li4Ti5O12/graphene composite and pure Li4Ti5O12. Therefore, the Li4Ti5O12/N-doped graphene composite is a promising anode material for lithium ion batteries.245
