A mesoporous poly(benzimidazole) network as a purely organic heterogeneous catalyst for the Knoevenagel condensation

Mesoporous poly(benzimidazole) with a surface area of about 180 m2 g−1 was effectively employed as a purely organic heterogeneous catalyst for the Knoevenagel condensation of various aldehydes with malonic derivatives.
