Selective liquid phase oxidation of aromatics over silica–polymer nanocomposite materials

Catalytic oxidation of different aromatics was carried out in liquid phase over silica–polymer nanocomposites in situ synthesised via free radical polymerization under mild reaction conditions and the catalytic activity studies indicate higher conversion and selectivity towards desired product.
