LiClO4-catalyzed cleavage of aziridines with thiols: A facile synthesis of β-aminosulfides

Aziridines react smoothly with thiols in the presence of catalytic amount of lithium perchlorate under essentially mild and neutral reaction conditions to afford the corresponding β-aminosulfides in high yields with high regioselectivity.
