A novel reusable nanocomposite adsorbent, xanthated Fe3O4-chitosan grafted onto graphene oxide, for removing Cu(II) from aqueous solutions

- Xanthated Fe3O4-chitosan grafted onto graphene oxide (xanthated Fe3O4-CS-GO) was synthesized.
- Xanthated Fe3O4-CS-GO demonstrates the high affinity to Cu(II) ions.
