Facile fabrication of superhydrophobic Bi/Bi2O3 surfaces with hierarchical micro-nanostructures by electroless deposition or electrodeposition

Superhydrophobic porous dendritic Bi/BiO3 surfaces can be facilely prepared by (a) replacement reaction and (b) electrodeposition accompanying surface self-passivation without additional surface modifications.
