Ultrasound assisted green synthesis of poly(vinyl alcohol) capped silver nanoparticles for the study of its antifilarial efficacy

- Synthesized a biocompatible polymer capped silver nanoparticles sonochemically.
- Synthesized in aqueous medium and by an ecofriendly method (Green approach).
- The biomolecule, tyrosine acts as catalyst throughout the synthesis.
- Encapsulation increased the stability, functionality and utility of the product.
- Nanocomposites exhibits excellent antifilarial activity.
