Tribological characteristics of electroless Ni-P-MoS2 composite coatings at elevated temperatures

► Uniform Ni-P-MoS2 composite coatings are deposited by electroless plating. ► Friction coefficient of composite coating decreases with the increase of temperature. ► Formation of lubricious oxide film leads to excellent tribological property.
