Surface structural evolution of AuAg/TiO2 catalyst in the transformation of benzyl alcohol to sodium benzoate

High yield of benzyl alcohol to sodium benzoate (85%) could be obtained via the AuAg/TiO2 catalyst calcined at 623 K in the presence of atmospheric air at low temperatures under solvent-free conditions.
