Multi-modal TiO2-LaFeO3 composite films with high photocatalytic activity and hydrophilicity

► TiO2-LaFeO3 film and LaFeO3-TiO2 film have been synthesized for the first time. ► The introduction of LaFeO3 changed the micro-structure, the surface acidity and the interfacial charge transfer process of composite films. ► TiO2-LaFeO3 film and LaFeO3-TiO2 film exhibited superior photocatalytic activity and hydrophilicity.
