Synthesis and optical properties of ZnO nanorods on indium tin oxide substrate

► ZnO nanorods were synthesized by thermal evaporation without catalyst or additives. ► The ZnO nanorods show good crystallinity testified by the Raman spectrum. ► The ZnO nanorods show strong UV emission with slight light emission in PL spectrum.
