XPS and TPD investigation of CO adsorption on mixed Rh-V layers supported by gamma-alumina

► Mixed Rh-V thin films supported by gamma-alumina as model catalyst. ► CO chemisorption and electronic properties have been studied. ► Strong dependence of the studied properties on preparation conditions. ► Formation of Rh-V alloy is weakening CO-surface bond and increases CO dissociation.
