Application of Black Pearl carbon-supported WO3 nanostructures as hybrid carriers for electrocatalytic RuSex nanoparticles

► RuSex catalyst was deposited onto hybrid carriers Black Pearl carbon-supported WO3. ► WO3-utilizing and RuSex nanoparticle was investigated during oxygen reduction reaction. ► A bifunctional mechanism, where RuSex induce electroreduction of O2 and WO3 reduce H2O2.
