Graphene/silicon photoelectrode with high and stable photoelectrochemical response in aqueous solution

► A simple method to fabricate graphene/silicon electrodes has been developed. ► The adhesion of graphene/silicon interface can be improved via an annealing process. ► The electrodes display the good photoelectrochemical behaviors in aqueous solution.
