Structure and photoluminescence of VAC-functionalized ZnO nanoparticles by plasma polymerization

▶ VAC-functionalized ZnO nanoparticles have been created by plasma polymerization. ▶ VAC polymer layer is uniformly deposited on the surfaces of the ZnO nanoparticles. ▶ The PL intensity of the ZnO nanoparticles is decreased due to the deposited films. ▶ Plasma films indicate better UV shielding ability for the smaller particles.
