Photoluminescence of silicon nanostructures prepared via hydrothermal growth progress

► SiNSs were synthesized with hydrothermal growth method. ► PL spectra present a PL emission at 400 nm with another weak one at 700 nm. ► The emission centers at the SiNSs' surface and the confinement effect are responsible for the emissions.
