The influence of Ga source and substrate position on the growth of low dimensional GaN wires by chemical vapour deposition

► Synthesis of GaN low dimensional materials (micro- and nanowires) via Ni catalyzed chemical vapour deposition under different conditions. ► To investigate the influence of Ga source and substrate position on the physical properties of GaN. ► Based on the morphological characteristics of the samples obtained from the FE-SEM images, growth mechanisms are proposed.
