High pressure magnetic resonance imaging with metallic vessels

► We introduce high pressure MRI with metallic vessels. ► Metal vessels provide efficient temperature control and optimized MRI sensitivity. ► A non-magnetic stainless steel rock core holder is demonstrated. ► This work extends high pressure NMR studies to MRI. ► Macroscopic systems are now amenable to high pressure MRI study.
