A mixed basis approach in the SGP-limit

► We develop a perturbation method to calculate approximate diffusion propagators. ► We apply the method on the calculation of echo decays in the SGP-limit. ► We find good agreement with analytic and numerical results. ► We conclude that the method suggests a practical tool for calculating echo decays.
