NMR signal averaging in 62Â T pulsed fields

► The first NMR experiments up to 62 T are reported in pulsed magnets. ► Various free induction decays are observed during a single magnetic field pulse. ► The field's maximum is measured with a precision better than 0.8 ppm near 62 T. ► The field's time dependence can be used to establish phase coherence among all FIDs. ► Signal averaging at fields up to 62 T is demonstrated.
