Two-dimensional NMR correlation experiments in the gas phase

► 2D NMR correlation experiments are successfully applied to gaseous analytes. ► COSY, TOCSY, HSQC, HMBC experiments are facile. ► Pulsed-field gradient experiments must take into account the fast diffusion of gases. ► Fast relaxation in 19F, 13C gas-phase NMR renders insensitive experiments practical. ► NOE-based experiments were not successful.
