Adsorption and dissociation kinetics of alkanes on CaO(100)

► The adsorption kinetics of small chain alkanes on CaO(100) were studied. ► A molecular and dissociative adsorption pathway was evident, except for ethane. ► Mostly methane and ethylene are formed. ► Two molecular TDS peaks are seen. ► Two samples were studied, blind experiments were conducted.
