Constructing polyamidoamine dendrons from poly(poly(ethylene glycol) monomethacrylate) brushes grafted from planar silicon hydride surfaces for biomedical applications

► Polyamidoamine (PAMAM) dendrons were grafted on hydrosilylated silicon. ► Dense amines of PAMAM dendrons are required in fabricating biochip and biosensor. ► On-chip synthesis of a three amino acid peptide of Arg-Gly-Asp was exemplified.
