Commercial test of the catalyst for removal of trace olefins from aromatics and its mechanism

► We conduct the commercial test of 22 tons of catalyst in the 130kt/a industrial PX device at Sinopec Qilu Company for removing trace olefins from aromatics. ► The last 6 tons commercial test was used to compare with this 22 tons. ► The reaction mechanism was explored and it obeyed the generally accepted carbonium ion mechanism.
