Pituitary tumors include a set of different lesions located at sella turcica, the pituitary adenoma is by far the most frequent type of lesion. Pituitary adenomas present clinically by compression of neighborhood structures, and hyper or hypo secretion of pituitary hormones. Depending on these characteristics, they can be observed, managed medically or by surgery. In this monograph, we will discuss the clinical aspects, diagnostic and treatment strategies of pituitary adenomas.
