REMOVED: Liver autotransplantation and retrohepatic vena cava reconstruction for alveolar echinococcosis

This article has been removed at the request of Dr. Jichun Zhao because subsequent follow-up data suggests that the outcomes using the reported criteria for liver autotransplantation may be substantially worse than those reported in the manuscript. Specifically, because the authors have observed liver failure or severe hepatic dysfunction in more recent patients who had autograft mass/standard liver mass ratios >40%, the reported autograft volume criterion may not be stringent enough. The intent of the removal is to avoid patient harm by preventing physicians from using the reported autograft volume criterion when deciding whether to perform this operation in a given patient. The author apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
