Distribution and geochemical composition of suspended particulate material in the shallow embayment of northern Thermaikos Gulf, Greece

During the sampling period, the water column was well-oxygenated. Early diagenesis only affected the concentrations of Mn and to a lesser extent Fe in the recently deposited seabed sediment.
