Co-destruction of organic pollutants in municipal solid waste leachate and dioxins in fly ash under supercritical water using H2O2 as oxidant

► We report co-detoxification process of MSW leachate and fly ash under SCWO. ► Fly ash exhibits catalytic effect on the removal of COD in leachate. ► Total mass concentration of PCDD/Fs in fly ash obtains a maximum degradation rate 90%. ► The destruction of COD and PCDD/Fs increase with the temperature and oxidant. ► De-chlorination reaction of PCDDs and PCDFs accompany with the degradation process.
