Bhopal atmospheric dispersion revisited

► We conclude that the density of the Bhopal cloud would have been significantly increased by the presence of an aerosol. ► Our modeling which accounted for the aerosol density showed that concentrations near ground level were at least an order of magnitude greater than any values previously published. ► We believe that a correct understanding of the accident that occurred in Bhopal is vitally important in order to avoid or respond to such releases in the future.
