Preparation and electrochemical properties of Ce-Ru-SnO2 ternary oxide anode and electrochemical oxidation of nitrophenols

► This manuscript describes the preparation and electrochemical properties of a novel ternary SnO2 based oxides electrode. ► Seven kinds of nitrophenols are chosen to be electrochemical oxidized by SnO2 based oxides electrode. ► The laws of nitrophenols degradation are summarized in terms of the relationship between kinetics and Hammett constants.
