Sorption of aromatic hydrocarbons onto montmorillonite as affected by norfloxacin

► Nor decreases 1,3-DNB sorption, and increases NAPH, PHEN and PYR sorption on montmorillonite. ► Nor± increased PHEN and PYR sorption more pronounced than Nor+ and Nor−. ► The corresponding mechanisms were described by FTIR and 1H NMR.
