Electrochemistry of copper(II) induced complexes in mycorrhizal maize plant tissues

► We study behavior of copper(II) induced complexes in maize plant extracts. ► We optimized a method for determination of copper(II) ions. ► Hydrodynamic voltammogram obtained for each sample indicated the complex creation. ► Differences between mycorrhizal and non-mycorrhizal plants were found. ► Mycorrhizal colonization reduced root to shoot translocation of Cu(II) ions.
