Mesoporous aluminosilica monoliths for the adsorptive removal of small organic pollutants

► Mesocage aluminosilica monoliths were fabricated through simple and direct synthesis. ► The monolithic composites could provide easy-to-use removal assays of organic pollutants. ► The mesocage adsorbent enhanced the adsorption amounts, diffusion, and binding coverage surfaces of pollutants. ► The current monolithic nano-adsorbents retain high adsorption efficiency even after a number of recycles.
