An experimental study quantifying pulmonary ventilation on inhalation of aerosol under steady and episodic emission

► We design and fabricate a breathing thermal manikin. ► We measure how inhalation influences by pulmonary ventilation rate. ► Pulmonary rate reduces inhalation and the reduction increases with the rate. ► Well-mixed scheme tends to lower the inhalation compared to displacement scheme.
