Anatase-brookite mixed phase nano TiO2 catalyzed homolytic decomposition of ammonium nitrate

- Catalytic activity on the decomposition reaction of ammonium nitrate is evaluated.
- Significant reduction in activation energy indicated a strong catalytic activity.
- Decomposition temperature lowered with respect to catalyst concentration.
- Possible removal of NH3 by TiO2 surface reactions changes the decomposition pathway.
