Parameter estimation and simulations of a mathematical model of Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis transmission in sheep

In simulations using values of best-fitting parameter combinations, the proportion of sheep infected was between 0.39 and 0.60 at equilibrium. This is the first mathematical model of C. pseudotuberculosis infection, the parameter estimates indicate that aspects of the infection process could be utilised to design control strategies.
