Effect of the adsorbate (Bromacil) equilibrium concentration in water on its adsorption on powdered activated carbon. Part 3: Competition with natural organic matter

▶ Natural organic matter (NOM) reduce Bromacil adsorption on activated carbon (PAC). ▶ Highly reactive sites in PAC appeared to be blocked by NOM adsorption. ▶ Prediction of Bromacil adsorption with the pseudo-single solute isotherm is possible. ▶ Second order kinetic model fitted well for Bromacil adsorption in presence of NOM.
